Soho Pop

Currently being hyped in the circles that know about these things (this means their PR is earning their keep), the Soho Dolls claim to be influenced by the "decaying and desperate glamour, savagery and sex" of Soho. As a londoner, I’m not entirely convinced with this premise – Soho is less about the brothels and strip clubs that made it infamous and more of a controlled, at times over commercialised version of its former self.

That said, PR bull aside, the Soho Dolls are an engaging mix of “Electro–rock-punk-dance-disco” or as I read on another site; Ladytron pretending to be Sugababes doing a mean Kraftwerk impression on the Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark back-catalogue.

I'm so glad I came across your site. I just "found" soho dolls this morning and have already fallen in love with them.
