Baby I've Been Here Before
In season one of the O.C. we had "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley. In season two we had "Hide & Seek" by Imogen Heap. Since it's the last year for all four main characters together, Josh Schwartz gave us something that mixes a little bit of both; the season 1 & 2 finale. Sung by Imogen Heap, it’s an a-capella version of Hallelujah.

I had high hopes for this, but it sounds a bit phoned in. Like, oh I'll get in the shower and record this track in 3 mins for the OC kids. Love her, but not my favorite. :(

I'm inclined to agree - but then how much can you do with such a classic track? I'm sure seeing the cast of O.C crying/shouting/breaking things/being rich/emoting through botox improved the emotional resonance of the track.
Or maybe not.

Ha! It is a totally overdone track: Jeff Buckley, Rufus W , dd lang. all did good versions, but still..

seriously, Leonard Cohen wrote this song and his version is the way it should be sung. Everyone gives Buckley credit, and yes, his is good, but people need to know it is Cohen's song.
