Versus

I got sent Mastermix Mashup CD a few weeks ago; whilst most of the mashups weren’t to my taste, I thought I’d share a couple that did at least make it to the end of the track. A couple of Alex C mashups thrown in for good measure – visit his site for more goodies.

MP3: Mylo vs. Neneh Cherry – Drop The Pressure vs. Buffalo Stance
MP3: Supermode vs. Bronski Beat – Tell Me Why vs. Smalltown Boy
MP3: Lily Allen Vs. Dawn Penn – No No No Shame For You
MP3: Madonna vs. Donna Summer – I Feel Future Lovers

Hmm. I hope Mylo vs Nenah is as good as the idea suggests!

Oh boo hoo. Nenah and Mylo wasn't quite what I was expecting.

I like the Bronski beat one a lot - makes me really want to hear the original tracks right now

If you like mashups you should check out http://peaking2.multiply.com/

There are some killer tracks there. My faves being Christina Vs Republica and, yes, Ace of Base Vs Mariah Carey.

Am definitely loving the Ma/Donna track. Considering, she samples "I feel Love" it's quite appropriate.

I really dig the Snap vs. Uniting Nations, and Sean Paul vs. Double 99 tracks on that cd.

But since you're not really into the mashups, I guess this comment doesn't really make much sense. :)
